AI Solution Architect

We’re looking for an AI Solution Architect to join our Applied AI team in Bangkok. In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of scalable AI/ML architectures - connecting data science, engineering, and business needs with strong technical oversight. You’ll work across multiple projects and teams in an international environment, shaping how we build and deliver AI solutions for our clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be expected to drive architectural decisions, ensure consistency across projects, and mentor engineers and architects while staying deeply involved in solution design. You’ll also be part of Norrin’s AI Guild, a community where you can deepen your technical expertise and share knowledge with peers who are as passionate about AI as you are.

🧩 Your work will include

• Leading the architecture design and implementation of complex ML/AI solutions across multiple projects

• Providing cross-team architectural leadership, aligning technical direction and ensuring consistency

• Designing scalable and maintainable system architectures that integrate data, models, and infrastructure

• Driving the development and adoption of methodologies, frameworks, and design principles

• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions

• Guiding tool, framework, and cloud platform selection for solution delivery

• Mentoring AI engineers and data scientists and supporting professional development across project teams

• Supporting presales activities with technical expertise and effort estimation

✨ What we value

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution design, software architecture, or a comparable technical leadership role

• Deep cross-functional expertise in system design — covering modelling, data infrastructure, scalability, and deployment

• Strong knowledge of Azure as the primary cloud platform, with AWS as a secondary; specifically their ML tooling (Microsoft Foundry, Azure ML, SageMaker, Bedrock)

• Significant experience designing and delivering end-to-end ML/AI solutions, including AI agents, LLMs, and traditional ML systems, using modern agentic frameworks and LLM tooling (e.g. Foundry Agent Service SDK, PydanticAI, DSPy, MLFlow)

• Ability to balance hands-on technical execution with long-term architectural vision

• Experience setting and refining technical standards and practices across teams

• Strong experience in client-facing roles - managing expectations, leading technical discussions, and aligning solutions with business objectives

• Proven ability to mentor and guide engineers at various career levels

• Strong English skills (written and spoken). This is essential, as English is the primary working language.

• A legal right to work in Thailand or a valid work permit. Please note that we are not able to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this position.

• Educational background in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a comparable field (or equivalent practical experience)

➕What’s a plus (but not required)

• Experience with data engineering principles and data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Microsoft Fabric)

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes)

• Background in consulting or professional services environments

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial domains

• Exposure to presales, solution scoping, or commercial estimation

• Experience working across multiple geographies or cultures
