AI Engineer (Junior-Mid)

We’re looking for an AI Engineer with junior-to-mid level career experience to join our Applied AI team in Bangkok. In this role, you’ll help design and build AI solutions ranging from AI agents and large language models (LLMs) to more traditional machine learning systems. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers in an international environment, learning best practices in software engineering and cloud development while contributing to scalable, business-relevant AI applications.

You don’t need to be an expert yet, but we value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to communicate clearly in a global team. You’ll also be part of Norrin’s AI Guild, a community where you can deepen your technical expertise and share knowledge with peers who are as passionate about AI as you are.

🧩 Your work may include

• Contributing to end-to-end AI/ML solutions (agents, RAGs, ML systems) with guidance from senior engineers

• Building and improving cloud-native applications (Azure preferred)

• Applying modern software engineering practices (Python, Git, CI/CD)

• Supporting deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of ML systems in production (MLOps)

• Helping design solutions that balance technical feasibility and business value

• Integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, and data platforms

• Collaborating with international teams and participating in knowledge-sharing activities

✨ What we value

• 1–2+ years of experience in software development, data, analytics, or AI/ML-related roles

• Interest in (or early hands-on experience with) AI agents and large language models (LLMs)

• Some experience with cloud development (Azure is a plus), or strong motivation to learn

• Working knowledge of Python and modern engineering practices (e.g. Git, CI/CD)

• Interest in learning MLOps and production AI systems

• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, and SQL

• Ability to work independently while actively seeking feedback and support

• Strong English skills (written and spoken). This is essential, as English is the primary working language

• A legal right to work in Thailand or a valid work permit. Please note, that we are not able to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this position.

• Educational background in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a comparable field (or equivalent practical experience)
  

➕ What’s a plus (but not required)

• Experience with Docker, Terraform, or other infrastructure-as-code tools

• Familiarity with LLM tooling (e.g. LangGraph, Azure AI Foundry)

• Familiarity with ML tooling (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, Azure AI Services)

• Exposure to data platforms such as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric

• Interest in testing practices and solution quality

• Experience working in international or consulting-style environments
