Data Engineer (Azure)

As an Azure Data Engineer, you’ll work on diverse and technically demanding cloud-based customer projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data platforms and analytics solutions using modern technologies such as Azure Data Platform services, Databricks, and AI-powered tools. Your role includes architecture planning, data modeling, and building integrations in close collaboration with our clients and internal stakeholders.

You will also be a part of Norrin’s Data Engineering Guild, where you’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise and share knowledge with a team of like-minded professionals. You actively stay up to date with new technologies and are eager to share your insights both with clients and internally across teams.

We value

• Experience in developing Databricks and/or Fabric-based solutions within Azure environments

• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and integrations

• Strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric mindset

• A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and developing your skill set

• The ability to work comfortably in client-facing roles and communicate technical solutions clearly

Your technical skills include

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark

• Experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse)

• Solid understanding of data security and privacy principles

• Bonus points for experience in: Power BI and automated reporting, Gen AI and machine learning models (MLOps), or cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake
