We’re looking for a data professional with a few years of hands-on experience. You might be in the early stages of your career or already more seasoned in the field. The role offers room to deepen your expertise and take on responsibilities that match your skill level and ambitions.

As an Azure Data Engineer, you’ll work on diverse cloud-based customer projects where your work makes a visible impact. You’ll design and implement modern data platforms and analytics solutions using Azure Data Platform services, Databricks, and AI-powered tools.

Your work can include architecture planning, data modeling, and building integrations in close collaboration with clients and internal experts. We’ll shape the exact scope of your role based on your experience, strengths, and interests, ensuring you’re both challenged and supported. You’ll also join Norrin’s Data Engineering Guild, a community where you can deepen your technical expertise and share knowledge with peers who are as passionate about data as you are.

✨ We value

• Around 2–5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics development

• Experience in developing Databricks and/or Fabric-based solutions within Azure environments

• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and integrations

• Strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric mindset

• A proactive attitude towards learning and exploring new technologies

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in client settings

• Fluent Finnish and English skills

🔧 Your technical toolbox

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark

• Experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse)

• Solid understanding of data security and privacy principles

• Bonus points for experience in Power BI and automated reporting, Gen AI and machine learning (MLOps), or cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake
